High-capacity transport
Large-volume transport is defined as transport in which the transported goods exceed the permitted width of 2.55 metres. Large pipes or rigid components often fall into this category.
Long transport
If a load is longer than 22.75 metres, it must be declared as long transport. Rotor blades of wind turbines are a typical example.
Heavy haulage
As the name suggests, heavy transport is defined by an excessive weight - namely over 25 tonnes of transported goods. This includes prefabricated buildings (parts) or heavy, connected machines.
Among other things, these three properties ensure the declaration of a special transport. Of course, several classifications can also be combined. For example, a load can be wider than 2.55 metres and weigh more than 25 tonnes.
